Workplace Audits – Employers Beware!
Friday, November 20th, 2009On November 19, 2009, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“USICE”) announced that it will begin to conduct workplace audits to ensure that employers have complied with employment verification laws when hiring a foreign national. According to the USICE, Notices of Inspection will be issued to 1,000 employers nationwide.
